OE numbers: order the right part with confidence

Every genuine Volkswagen part has an OE number (Original Equipment number), the unique factory identifier that tells you exactly whether a part fits your vehicle. At FZN Parts we always list this number in the product description. What many people don’t know is that the same OE number regularly appears across several brands and models within the VAG group. Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Cupra and Škoda share platforms and technology, so a part from one brand often fits another. One example: the steering column of the Golf 7 is identical to that of the Audi A3 (8V), same OE number and same quality, but sometimes a different price depending on the brand it is sold under. That is why it pays to search by OE number rather than by brand alone.
